The A1 8 drawer Orchard Metal Plan Chest provides high capacity paper storage for A1 paper.
With 8x 83mm deep drawers running on easy glide nylon skids smooth and quiet action is ensured when sliding the drawers in and out.
Contrasting brilliantly against any paint finish the chrome finish (standard) D handles give the drawers both a modern feel and a reassuringly strong touch point when handling the drawer.
The wooden MFC work top provides a resilient and comfortable surface to work against whilst being easy to replace if required.
The pure white finish on both the frame and the drawers looks sleek, however if you would prefer to add a little colour to your workspace then go ahead! If you want to order online, simply order your ideal drawer configuration in the standard finish and we will contact you to discuss colour options before putting your plan chest into production.
Check out our Colour Picker to see what colour combinations are possible.
The drawers can also be fitted with individual locks. Keys can be suited to a single master, or with unique keys for each drawer. Contact us for further information.
If you are looking for a plan chest which can be easily moved around your office or studio, then the heavy duty locking castors are the ideal solution.
Is any assembly required?
No. Orchard Metal Plan Chests are supplied fully assembled however, it is easy to dismantle them if required for installation.
Are metal plan chests stronger than wooden?
All our plan chests are built to be 'student proof' and come with a lifetime warranty. However, if maximum robustness is key then a metal plan chest would be most suitable.
