What We Do

After more than 30 years of manufacturing, we pride ourselves as being the UK's leading producer of professional drawing office equipment and specialist lighting equipment. We are also the sole UK distributor for Tecnostyl Italy; offering their full range of technical drawing equipment, counter sprung stands and plan chests. We can also supply any of their visual / retail display products for point of sale and exhibition on request.

Our Orchard brand, and our association with quality, continues to become ever more widely recognised as we constantly endeavour to improve our product range, services and customer relations.

We are a closely knit family business based in the heart of West Yorkshire offering an exceptional and unique service across the UK and around the world.

Our Approach

As an environmentally conscious company, we constantly strive to improve our already highly efficient operations and promote a green work ethic throughout our work force.

  • Environmentally friendly raw materials - We are committed to using raw materials that are eco-friendly and sustainable. This means that we carefully source our materials to ensure that they have minimal environmental impact, and that they can be recycled or reused at the end of their lifecycle.
  • Energy efficient production methods - We use energy-efficient production methods to minimise our carbon footprint and reduce our energy costs. We have implemented a range of measures to reduce energy usage, including using energy-efficient equipment and optimising our production processes to reduce waste.
  • Efficient delivery logistics - We have optimised our delivery logistics to minimise our environmental impact. This includes using low-emission vehicles, consolidating orders to reduce the number of deliveries, and working with delivery partners who share our commitment to sustainability.
  • Zero land contamination - We take great care to ensure that our production processes do not result in any land contamination. We carefully monitor our waste streams and ensure that any hazardous materials are disposed of in accordance with local regulations.
  • Long product life cycle - We design our products to have a long lifecycle, meaning that they will last for many years without needing to be replaced. This reduces the need for new products to be manufactured, and reduces the environmental impact associated with product disposal.
  • Re-use of packaging - We are committed to minimising the environmental impact of our packaging. We use recyclable materials wherever possible, and we encourage our customers to re-use or recycle our packaging materials.
  • Waste minimisation - We have implemented a range of measures to minimise waste in our production processes. This includes using lean manufacturing principles to optimise our processes, and carefully monitoring our waste streams to identify opportunities for waste reduction.
  • Low emissions - We are committed to minimising our emissions to air, water, and land. We carefully monitor our emissions and implement measures to reduce them wherever possible. This includes using low-emission equipment and working with suppliers who share our commitment to sustainability.
