Traditional wooden plan chests are a clean and modern way to store paper, plans or drawings. This type of plan chest combines elegance with practicality to create a useful piece of furniture suitable for any office, studio or classroom.
They are available for A0 or A1 paper sizes and in a six, nine or twelve drawer configuration. We build them to order and send them fully assembled directly from our factory in Yorkshire.
Models & PricesAll our plan chests are built by us, just for you. 6, 9 or 12 drawer versions of this traditional style wooden plan chest are all meticulously built to order with either A0 or A1 drawers. Available in, light oak, maple, beech and light grey wood as standard.
If you need a different colour finish or even a different configuration or size of drawers then simply contact us. Because we make them, we can make unique versions specifically to meet your needs.
For added security, Traditional wooden plan chests can be fitted with individually locking drawers. Locking castors may also be fitted to the steel plinth making them easier to move around.
Because we manufacture these plan chests order, we can customise them in various ways. If you require anything specific such as bespoke sizes, different handles or integrated cupboards, simply contact us. Fitted with metal bow handles and a 50mm steel plinth. Our wooden plan chests are constructed using three-drawer modular sections which fit together to give the required number of drawers.
The makes adding in additional drawer in the future nice and easy. We can build and supply a single three drawer section designed to fit in to your existing plan chest.
The 68mm deep drawers and simple lines make the Traditional wooden plan chest ideal for offices or design studios. Its robust construction also makes it suitable for college art rooms and other educational environments. Traditional three drawer sections may be combined with six drawer Heath sections in any order.
