Can I have a different height table?
Yes. We make them to order and slight changes to the height (+ / - 300mm) will not change the price. We can supply height adjustable table frames, contact us for details. 01924 291333.

How bright is it?
Very. You can easily illuminate through 450gsm card. Thankfully the dimmer provides fine control over the light intensity making it comfortable to use for extended periods.

Does it come with a power supply?
Yes. An external 24V desktop power supply is provided and fitted with a UK plug as standard. We can supply different plugs if required; we will confirm with you if your delivery address is outside the UK.

Do I need a glass screen?
Large format light tables benefit from the strength that a toughened glass screen provides. If you do not want a glass screen then please contact us to discuss options. Call 01924 291333.

I bought a drawing board for my anime-obsessed daughter's twelth birthday. I had a couple of questions about it and the shipping process, so I rang the number on the website and even spoke to the main man Matt himself(!)

They were really, really helpful, maybe the best customer service this decade. We talked through her needs and he even suggested a cheaper model than the one I'd googled. Just incredible.

When some of the delivery logistics needed changing later Matt called me back and literally could not have helped more.

Just totally fantastic service and quality from a UK-owned and UK-manufacturing business. Yorkshire should be very proud of this lot. Proper grafters. Would definitely, definitely recommend again.

My very old Orchard drawing board has stood the test of time over 25 years but recently needed some new parts and a general overhaul. Matt and Tim arranged for it to be collected from my office, did the work to restore it to working order and returned it to me very quickly. I was kept fully informed and they turned up when they said they would. 10/10 for customer service!

Matt was so helpful with reassurance and advice that the damage to my A2 Priory board would be a simple home repair, and dispatched the necessary replacement weight cup (plus a spare) by next day delivery, and foc. A 5 star service, and much appreciated thank you. It's back to full functionality now.

Well what can I say, fabulous service provided by Matt and the team. I have a wooden Big Orchard plans chest, had it for several years and it's been so useful and durable. Amazingly, considering its strength, one of the handles was broken (I blame my large teenage son and his acrobatics) so i slightly desperately contacted Matt to see if another could be sourced. Response was almost by return, with a promise of a search for this now superseded style of handle. Picture Matt amongst many dusty boxes and hey presto! He magically produced not one but two replacement handles and these were speedily despatched for an easy repair. Brilliant service. So impressed. Many thanks Sarah

Our beautiful, and I mean beautiful, oak plan chest arrived today and has exceeded all our expectations. We spent a long time looking for the right one and we definitely found it at The Big Orchard. I really want to thank everyone who had a hand in making and getting this beautiful piece of furniture to our home. From the really informative and well-designed website with Matt explaining all the details, to the creation and expertise in actually making the chest, to whomever packed it up so BRILLIANTLY, to the safe and swift delivery to one of the trickiest parts of the UK, to the personal service from start to finish. It is rare for us to be so delighted that we had to say something! The fact that you ring up, get the person that you need to speak to immediately feels very unusual nowadays and I love it.
