Following an extensive refurbishment project, Leeds Library wanted their public spaces to feature document storage for old Ordinance Survey city plans and maps.
They approached us to design suitable plan chests finished in a traditional warm wood finish in-keeping with the historic character of the library space.
After covering the basic capacity requirements and form-factor for the chests, we helped our customer settle on the best wood finish match - Terano pear wood with traditional style brass cup handles. These both worked well together and felt at home in the Library setting - closely matching the existing furniture, fixtures and fittings.
