The Italian-made MDM is a professional orthogonal drafting machine built from anodised aluminium profile. The horizontal and vertical carriages slide on ball bearings, and both movements can be locked with brakes positioned close to the protractor. The vertical movement is balanced with a counterweight, and the upper attachment is reinforced in cast aluminium.
The drafting head has a 360° protractor with double joint, automatic 15° rotation and free rotation with locking at intermediate angles. The protractor has a larger handle and an adjustable zero setting. The machine is supplied with a pair of dual-use (pencil/ink) rulers in aluminium and Plexiglas, marked in cm.
With an extra wide 1100mm working area you have a convenient parking area for the vertical drafting arm when changing paper. The 13-stage angle adjustable steel table top stand is finished in black and allows for quick and easy positioning to find the optimum working angle no matter your working style.
