There's one person in the F1 paddock who is synonymous with his old-school approach to design. Sir Adrian Newey has, for his entire carrier, been a pencil and paper style designer famous for using a drawing board even in this modern era.
It's difficult to argue with the approach as his results speak for themselves - 12 constructor titles and 13 driver titles makes him one of the most successful designers in F1 history as of 2025.
With his 2025 move to Aston Martin Aramco, it has no doubt further boosted the confidence of the Silverstone team who have already seen unprecedented investement in their personel and state of the art facilities and equipment.
As Sir Adrian took up resedence in his new office, naturally his required equipment included a new drawing table, plan chest and light box ensuring he has the tools to make the 2026 car a formidable title contender.

A0 10-drawer Milano Plan Chests. Finished in light grey to best match corporate colours they featured an integrated light box in the top.
The plan chests were each topped with a custom A0 light box — bright, even, and flush to the edge. Designed to elegently take the place of the standard work top, they were made from steel and finished in a light grey to match the plan chest.
Although over the years we have supplied many of the F1 teams, we're wishing Aston Martin Aramco all the best for the 2026 season. It will be great to see Sir Adrian's achievments surrounded by a increadible team and increadible tools!
